CBS’ drama block led this week by Hawaii Five-0 (0.8 million in the adults 18-49 demo, 7.55 million viewers) and MacGyver (0.8, 6.90M) propelled Friday’s primetime ratings, and with the night’s usual king Blue Bloods a repeat it was also Hawaii Five-0, despite dipping a tenth in the demo, that led all shows in viewership.

Also notable Friday was ABC’s two-hour 20/20 (0.7, 4.78M), which rose a tenth for its episode remembering the scandals of Jim and Tammy Faye Baker, scoring its best viewership number in a year. That, along with fresh offerings of Fresh Off the Boat (0.7, 3.44M) and Speechless (0.6, 2.59M), even and up a tenth, respectively, gave the network its best overall Friday primetime viewership of the season.

Also in reruns was Last Man Standing, typically the night’s demo leader. Instead, it was part of a repeat comedy block on Fox, which did have an original in Hell’s Kitchen (0.7, 2.65M), off a tenth at 9 PM.

CBS won the night overall in viewers and tied for the demo title with ABC and Fox.

Among midseason returns, the CW welcomed back Dynasty (0.2, 660,000) from its winter break; it was up in both metrics from its last original. That aided its lead-out Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (0.2, 480K), also up a tenth from its midseason premiere a week ago.

NBC meanwhile was steady with Blindspot (0.6, 3.05M) and The Blacklist (0.6, 4.04M). Blindspot did touch another season high in viewers. Dateline (0.6, 3.13M), followed at 10 PM and was even with a week ago.
