Gone follows the story of Kit “Kick” Lannigan (Leven Rambin), survivor of a highly publicized child-abduction case, and 20-year veteran Frank Novak (Noth), the FBI agent who rescued her. Years later, he recruits her to join a special task force dedicated to solving abductions and missing persons cases. Paired with former Army intelligence officer John Bishop (Danny Pino), Lanniganuses her intuitive wit and martial arts skills to solve cases and bring victims home. Tracie Thoms and Andy Mientus co-star.

Gone is part of Tribune-owned WGN America’s programming strategy of cost-effective originals launched in 2017 that involves acquisitions of already produced series, virtually all in the crime genre.

NBCUniversal International Studios produced the series, which is created and written by Matt Lopez (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice) based on Chelsea Cain’s novel One Kick. Lopez also executive produces alongside JoAnn Alfano, Sara Colleton, Kim Moses and Barry O’Brien.
