Jimmy Kimmel: Shutting Down Things Is Donald Trump’s Specialty

As President Donald Trump presides over the longest government shut-down in U.S. history, ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel took stock of all the things Trump has shuttered.
“Donald Trump has now shut down – we added it up today – three casinos, an airline, a football league, a university, a magazine, a steak company, a vodka company, a travel website, and the government of the United States,” Kimmel marveled.
“Is anyone else tired of winning yet, because I’m not,” he added.
While Trump was holed up in the White House all weekend “binge-watching cable news and tweeting up a spray-tanned storm,” Kimmel noted POTUS wrote:
I just watched a Fake reporter from the Amazon Washington Post say the White House is ‘chaotic, there does not seem to be a strategy for this Shutdown. There is no plan.’ The Fakes always like talking Chaos, there is NONE. In fact, there’s almost nobody in the W.H. but me.
“What a terrifying thought that. Just Donald – his Fox and his Friends… and the nuclear codes,” Kimmel joked. “Is he running the country, or re-booting the Home Alone franchise?”
Trump also tweeted that the wall was a campaign promise and elections have consequences.
“Yeah, no kidding.  He’s the ‘you broke it, you bought it’ of presidents,” the ABC late-night star said.
