The CW Sets Spring Premiere Dates: ‘Jane The Virgin’ & ‘iZombie’ Final Seasons, ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ & ‘The 100’ Return

The CW has set its spring 2019 premiere dates for new series In the Dark, plus the returns of The 100 and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and premieres for the final seasons of Jane the Virgin and iZombie.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which came off the schedule in December to make room for the displaced Black Lightning, will return April 1 to its previous night, Monday, but shifting from 9 PM to 8 PM. It will switch places with Arrow, which will slide to 9 PM Arrow will be preempted on April 1 for an April Fools Day Penn & Teller: Fool Us special and will air a rerun on April 8 against the NCAA mens basketball championship game before returning to originals in its new berth on April 15.

The CW has previously announced that Jane the Virgin and new series In the Dark will succeed freshmen All American and Legacies when they finish their shorter runs.

The final season of Jane the Virgin begins Wednesday, March 27 at 9 PM following Riverdale at 8 PM. All American wraps its first season on Wednesday, March 20 at 9 PM.

In the Dark, starring Perry Mattfeld, debuts Thursday, April 4 at 9 PM, following a new episode of Supernatural at 8 PM. Legacies season finale will air Thursday, March 28 at 9 PM.

Rom-com-zom-dram iZombie returns for its fifth and final season Thursday, May 2 at 8 PM, followed by In the Dark at 9 PM. iZombie will replace in the 8 PM hour veteran Supernatural, whose full season, 20-episode 14th season wraps on April 25.

The 100 returns for its sixth season on Tuesday, April 30 at 9 PM, following The Flash at 8 PM. The season finale of Roswell, New Mexico will air Tuesday, April 23 at 9 PM.

Jane the Virgin, iZombie, The 100 and In the Dark all are slated to bleed into summer, giving the network home-grown scripted originals for most of the off-season. Additionally, the CW will be airing second seasons of acquired scripted series The Outpost and Burden of Truth and has acquired British cop drama Bulletproof for summer. On the unscripted side, the network has on tap new seasons of Whose Line, Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusion.
