When E!’s Busy Tonight returns January 7 it will be in a new timeslot. The late-night talk show hosted by Busy Philipps will air at 11 PM every Monday through Thursday, an hour later than its previous 10 PM slot.
Busy Tonight, executive produced by Tina Fey, features Philipps giving her opinions on the latest pop culture stories and trending topics with candid celebrity guest interviews and original comedic segments. Upcoming guests include Michelle Williams, Connie Britton, Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Van Ness, Howie Mandel, Cobie Smulders and more. Previous guests have included Mindy Kaling, Kristen Bell, Kim Kardashian West, Tracee Ellis Ross and Camila Mendes, among others.
In addition, a one-hour Busy Tonight Live: Golden Globes After Party special will air at 11 PM ET/8 PT Sunday, January 6, immediately following the Golden Globe Awards. Celebrity guests include comedian Whitney Cummings, Netflix’s Queer Eye star Karamo Brown, comedian Rhea Butcher, and Keep It podcast writer-host Ira Madison III.
Busy Tonight attracts a younger, female audience with a median age of 43, almost a decade younger than the broadcast and cable late-night talk show average, according to Nielsen Live+3.
Busy Tonight is produced by Fey’s Little Stranger banner and Wilshire Studios. Fey, Philipps, Caissie St.Onge, Eric Gurian, Julie Darmody, and David Miner serve as executive producers.
