Westworld’s Leonardo Nam is set for a recurring role opposite Crystal Reed in Swamp Thing, the upcoming streaming drama series based on the DC characters created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. The project, which hails from James Wan’s Atomic Monster in association with Warner Bros. Television, is set to premiere in 2019 on the DC Universe digital subscription service. Written by Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman, Swamp Thing follows Abby Arcane (Reed) as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe. Nam will play Harlan Edwards, a gay CDC specialist who is Abby’s (Reed) second-in-command. Nam is best known for his portrayal of lab technician Felix Lutz on HBO’s sci-fi series Westworld, opposite Thandie Newton and Evan Rachel Wood. Nam is also set to recur on Amazon’s drama Sneaky Pete, opposite Giovanni Ribisi. He is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and managed by Anonymous Content.

Illeana Douglas (Funny Ladies) is set for a recurring role opposite Billy Bob Thornton on the upcoming third season of Amazon’s Goliath. In season 3, the unexpected death of an old friend leads Billy McBride (Thornton) to take a case in the drought-stricken Central Valley where he comes face-to-face with a new Goliath: a billionaire rancher (Dennis Quaid) and his sister (Amy Brenneman). As Billy and his team pursue the truth, old enemies and personal demons resurface, forcing him to confront his own mortality. Douglas will play Rita, a keno-addicted casino barfly who fills Billy in on the local gossip. This past fall, Douglas co-hosted with Carol Burnett limited series Funny Ladies for Turner Classic Movies. Most recently, she executive produced Kino Lorber’s Pioneers, First Female Filmmakers, which has been honored by the New York Film Critics and the 2018 Women Film Critics Circle. She continues to host her podcast I Blame Dennis Hopper based on her 2015 bestselling book. She currently is in pre-production on comedy feature Love Is Funny, based on her original script, which she will direct, and she will be voicing a role in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons. Douglas is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and TCA Management.
