‘Saturday Night Live’ Ratings Rise To Tie A Season High With Host Matt Damon

Saturday Night Live‘s last original telecast of 2018, with host Matt Damon, musical guests Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus, and appearances by Robert de Niro, Ben Stiller and Alec Baldwin, averaged a 4.8 Live+same day household rating in the metered markets and a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating in the markets with local people meters.

That was up sharply from last week’s show, hosted by Jason Momoa with musical guest Mumford & Sons (4.3, 1.7) to tie the the Sept. 29 SNL season premiere (4.8, 2.3 with host Adam Driver and musical guest Kanye West) as the highest mark of the season in households and log the second highest result in 18-49 behind the opener.

The Christmas-themed episode followed a headline-making story involving the wellbeing og cast member Pete Davidson who made a brief appearance.

Saturday Night Live was the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in both metered-market households and 18-49 in the local people meters, topping all primetime shows on those nets in both categories.
