Guy Ritchie’s ‘Toff Guys’ Taps Lyne Renee

EXCLUSIVE: Belgium-born actress Lyne Renee is joining Guy Ritchie’s Toff Guys and will play Jackie, the wife of Jeremy Strong’s Cannabis Kingpin character.

Written by Ritchie, Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson, the Miramax pic explores the collide between old European wealth and the modern marijuana industrial complex with new gang entrants swarming. The movie, which is shooting, is a throwback to Ritchie’s visually kinetic gangster pics. Matthew McConaughey, Henry Golding, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant star as well as Michelle Dockery, who recently replaced Kate Beckinsale in the film.

Renee is a series regular on the EPIX/Fox International series Deep State. Straight off that Renee shot a recurring role on the Gary Sanchez pilot Motherland.  She is also stars in the feature An L.A. Minute opposite Kiersey Clemons and Gabriel Byrne. Other credits include a series regular role in Ridley Scott’s Mercy Street, M. Night Shyamalan’s Split, the feature adaptation of Stephen Fry’s Hippopotamus, ABC’s limited series Madoff, Chris Brancato’s Of Kings and Prophets and Strike Back.  Renee is repped by LINK Entertainment and The Artists Partnership in the UK.
