Melania Trump Calls Out “Opportunists”, Says Media Is Writing History But “It’s Not Correct”

Fox News

In an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Melania Trump talked about the criticism she has received from the public — but she specifically addressed journalists and others.

She said the hardest thing she has to deal with since she has been in the White House is the “opportunists” who are using her name and the Trump family name to “advance themselves.” She doesn’t name anyone in particular, but she calls out journalists, comedians, performers, and authors.

She said that it doesn’t hurt what they say about her however she points out: “The problem is they’re writing the history and it’s not correct.”

In the interview, Trump also said that she does what she thinks is right and knows that she will get criticized. “I will do what is right and what I feel is right for the country and for the people,” she said. “That’s why I say I want to stay true to myself and listen to myself and what to do and what is right, what is wrong and live a meaningful life every day.”
