‘Unsolved’ Star Wavyy Jonez Inks With Abrams Artists

Abrams Artists Agency has signed Wavyy Jonez across the board with the firm’s Los Angeles Talent Department, headed by Justin Baxter.

AAA will be focused on expanding Jonez’ presence in film and television while also supporting his position in commercials, digital content and endorsements.

Jonez made a big splash this year as Christopher “Biggie” Wallace in USA Networks’ drama Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. which follows the infamous East Coast-West Coast beef between the two that resulted in Tupac being shot in Las Vegas in 1996 and dying a few days later, and Biggie being gunned down in Los Angeles six months after that. Despite dozens and potentially hundreds of witnesses and allegations of police involvement and cover-ups, neither case is officially closed.

Jonez was discovered through an open casting call for the part of Notorious B.I.G. The series directed by Anthony Hemingway is based in part on Detective Greg Kading’s explosive and name-naming 2011 book Murder Rap. Kading also serves as Co-EP on the series.

Jonez, originally from Long Island, New York is also represented by Olivia Reed at First Access Entertainment.
