Shailene Woodley Movie ‘No Baggage’ Lands Megan Park As Writer

EXCLUSIVE: Megan Park has been brought on to write the New Line feature No Baggagebased on the Salon article “The Craziest OkCupid Date Ever” by Clara Bensen. The article tells the true story of an unlikely online date.

Shailene Woodley already is attached to the project, which is being produced by Offspring Entertainment’s Jennifer Gibgot and Adam Shankman.

Park wrote and directed the short film Lucy in My Eyes, which garnered numerous awards including the Grand Jury Prize at the Austin Film Festival. She also wrote the spec pilot Calvert Collins for CBS Studios.

Also an actor, Park’s credits include CBS Films’ What If?, the ABC series The Neighbors and ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
