Weinstein Co. Publicity Head Nicole Quenqua Exits After Seven Years

Another day, another exit from The Weinstein Company, which has gone through scandal and now bankruptcy. Nicole Quenqua has exited the company after seven years. She served most recently as head of publicity and has held the post during the most tumultuous years in the company’s history, with the Harvey Weinstein scandal and subsequent financial struggles.

There are still 86 employees that remain at the company, which is in the process of being acquired by Lantern Capital as part of a $310 million bankruptcy auction. Last week, a U.S. bankruptcy court approved the sale of TWC’s assets.

Quenqua leaves today to start the next chapter, and sent out an email out to friends/colleagues:

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I’m writing to let you know that today will be my last day at TWC. It’s with a heavy heart, and a lotta baggage, that I walk away from a life changing experience that was both the best and worst of times. I have an immense amount of gratitude for your support throughout these 7 years.

I’ll be beginning a new chapter on the West Coast shortly and look forward to continuing to work with many of you.

Quenqua is the latest in a string of executives who have left the film/tv company over the past year.
