‘A Million Little Things’ New ABC Drama Series Recasts Role

An actress in ABC’s drama pilot A Million Little Things will not be continuing as the project was picked up to series. Anne Son, who played one of the leads in the large ensemble cast, is leaving. Her role, Katherine, will be recast.

Written by DJ Nash, A Million Little Things revolves around a group of friends from Boston who bonded under unexpected circumstances. Some have achieved success, others are struggling in their careers and relationships, but all of them feel stuck in life. After one of them dies unexpectedly, it’s just the wake-up call the others need to finally start living. Along the way they discover that friends may be the one thing to save them from themselves.

Katherine, who was once the fun one in the group, now is the mom to a son she loves while juggling being the parent she wants to be with her very successful law career.

A Million Little Things‘ cast includes David Giuntoli, Ron Livingston, Romany Malco, Allison Miller, Christina Moses, Christina Ochoa, James Roday, Stephanie Szostak and Lizzy Greene.

Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment and ABC Studios are co-financing. Nash, Kaplan and Dana Honor executive produce.
