We offer up some Robert Young and Mandy Patinkin, but today on Deadline’s TV Talk podcast we’re placing bets for who could be in the running for Best Actor in a Drama Series at this year’s Emmys. With a bit of Netflix and chat, we also feature interviews with The Crown’s Claire Foy and the cast and creators of One Day at a Time.

Looking at this year’s highly competitive Best Actor category, Game of Thrones is eligible once again — which means Kit Harington could end up being King of the Emmys as well of the North.

Yet, ABC hit newbie The Good Doctors Freddie Highmore is also a strong contender in a very strong field. With The Americans in its final season, Matthew Rhys also seems assured a nomination.

Add to that, Mindhunter leads Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany both should be in the race for their exceptional performances in the Netflix crime series executive produced by David Fincher and Charlie Theron. It has just started filming its Season 2.

However, as anyone who saw the more highly emotional than ever post-Super Bowl This Is Us episode this year, do not for a second count out last year’s winner Sterling K. Brown or his castmate Milo Ventimiglia going for the TV Academy touchdown.

So  listen to today’s podcast below and tell us what you think of our predictions. Did we leave anyone out?
