Tessa Mossey (The Glass Castle), who initially appeared as a guest star in Season 2 of Freeform’s drama series Shadowhunters, will reprise the character in a recurring role in Season 3. Mossey plays Heidi, a delightfully evil and unpredictable vampire, with a mysterious connection to someone in the Shadowhunters’ inner circle. Mossey has been seen in Lionsgate’s The Glass Castle, CW’s Reign, and has a series regular role in MGM’s upcoming anthology series The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair on Epix. She is repped by Daniel Birnbaum at The Talent House and David Dean Management.

John Hodgman has signed on for a recurring role in Amazon’s superhero series The Tick. It centers on the often quite clueless but very powerful Tick, played by Peter Serefinowicz. With Newman’s Arthur as the Tick’s often unwilling sidekick, the show takes places in a world where superheroes are an everyday occurrence but real super villains are thought to be the stuff of legend -until The Terror (Jackie Earle Haley) who has been long thought dead – shows up. Hodgman will play Hobbes, the AEGIS scientist. On TV, Hodgman most recently appeared in NBC’s Blindspot, Cinemax’s The Knick and Amazon’s Red Oaks and Mozart In the Jungle. He has also had voiceover roles in Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time with Finn & Jake and Jon Glaser Loves Gear. His film credits include Pitch Perfect 2. He’s repped by UTA and Jackoway Tyerman.
