‘GLOW’s Betty Gilpin Joins Dave Bautista & Kumail Nanjiani In Fox’s ‘Stuber’

EXCLUSIVE: Betty Gilpin (GLOW, Nurse Jackie) has signed on for 20th Century Fox’s Michael Dowse-directed action comedy Stuber, which is toplined by David Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani.

Tripper Clancy wrote the script about a mild-mannered Uber driver (Nanjiani) who picks up a grizzled cop (Bautista) hot on the trail of a brutal killer and is thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he has to keep his wits, his life, and his five-star rating.

Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley producing the pic while Jake Wagner and Nick Thomas will serve as executive producers. Jeremy Kramer is overseeing for the studio.

In addition to this project, it was recently announced that Gilpin had joined Sony’s Grudge reimagining and co-stars opposite Rebel Wilson in New Line’s Isn’t It Romantic, out February 14.

She returns in Season 2 of Netflix’s female wrestling series, GLOW, which will be available to stream June 29.

Gilpin is repped by ICM, Anonymous Content, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman.
