Max Greenfield Joins Taraji P. Henson For Paramount’s ‘What Men Want’

Max Greenfield going from hanging with the New Girl to getting his mind read by Taraji P. Henson in the upcoming comedy What Men Want.

Directed by Adam Shankman, What Men Want is a twist on Paramount’s Nancy Meyers-directed rom-com classic What Women Want from 2000 in which Mel Gibson played a guy who could hear women’s thoughts. In Shankman’s version, Henson plays a woman boxed out of the sports agents profession but gains an unexpected edge when she can hear their thoughts. She uses this to her advantage and races to sign the NBA’s next superstar. Tracy Morgan is also set to set to star.

Greenfield is currently wrapping the final season of New Girl. He is also part of the Ryan Murphy television universe, having appeared in the American Horror Story anthology as well as the recent FX series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

Greenfield is repped by WME and Untitled Entertainment.

Deadline’s sister publication Variety was the first to report the news.
