‘SNL’ Sets Amy Schumer & Tina Fey To Host Final Two Shows Of Season 43


Amy Schumer and SNL alum Tina Fey are set to host the final two Season 43 episodes of NBC’s Saturday Night Live on May 12 and 19, respectively. The booking marks¬†Schumer’s second hosting gig and Fey’s sixth.


Both Schumer and Fey have big projects to plug: Schumer’s feature film I Feel Pretty hits theaters Friday, and Fey has the Broadway musical version of Mean Girls heading into Tony Award season. She wrote the book for the musical, based on the 2004 movie she wrote. SNL‘s Lorne Michaels is a producer of the musical.

Schumer’s musical guest will be singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves, making her Studio 8H debut.¬†Nicki Minaj will be Fey’s musical guest, her third SNL appearance.

As previously announced, Donald Glover will make his SNL hosting debut on May 5 and also will be the musical guest as his alter ego Childish Gambino.
