Morning Joe picked a slow Donald Trump Twitter morning to trot out Trump Twitter Bingo. POTUS has so far confined his Twitter efforts to congratulating Patrick Reed on his Masters win – by way of plugging his Trump National Doral Gold Club –and complained about China-imposed tariffs on American cars.

“Congratulations to Patrick Reed on his great and courageous MASTERS win!” Trump tweeted. “When Patrick had his amazing win at Doral 5 years ago, people saw his great talent and a bright future ahead. Now he is the Masters Champion!

Trump also tweeted, “When a car is sent to the United States from China, there is a Tariff to be paid of 2 ½%. When a car is sent to China from the United States, there is a Tariff to be paid of 25%. Does that sound like free or fair trade. No, it sounds like STUPID TRADE – going on for years!”

Mika and Joe were able to fill just one box in their bingo card: “China.” That left them filling time by naming and commenting on the other boxes on the card.

“Other possibilities: Rocket Man, Failing New York Times, Collusion and Ratings,” Mika said. “We will see if we can get a few more markers on the board before the morning is over. Definitely through the week,” she added, hedging her bets. “That will be fun.”
