‘Big Bang Theory’ Prevails, ‘Will & Grace’ Wraps Season Matching Last Week’s Low

CBS’s The Big Bang Theory (2.3, 12.73M) took 8 PM and Young Sheldon (1.9, 11.57M) won 8:30 PM – both beating their Big 4 competitors combined in total viewers, though Big Bang‘s demo rating equaled a series low. That said, Big Bang claimed the night’s top spots in in both metrics,

NBC’s Will & Grace (0.9, 3.60M) zippy season wrapper tied previous week’s season low in the demo at 9 PM;  CBS’s Mom (1.4, 8.46M) won the slot.

Life in Pieces (0.9, 6.16M) hung on to the total viewer lead at 9:30 but ABC’s Station 19 (1.0, 5.12M) took over the demo lead, though it dropped 2/10th compared to last week in demo, after its Grey’s Anatomy (1.6, 6.75M) lead-in slipped to a season low in the demo.

NBC’s Chicago Fire (1.0, 5.4M) dominated the 10 PM hour with 10/10th demo growth. Meanwhile, ABC’s Scandal (0.9, 3.88M) grew 5% in total viewers and 13% in the demo in its second week at 10 compared to first week – and by double digits over ABC’s stats same night last year.

Chicago Fire simmered steady compared to previous week, as did NBC’s comedy lineup of Superstore (0.8, 3.17M) AP Bio (0.6, 2.28M) Will & Grace and Champions (0.5 1.95M).

CBS (1.3, 8.19M) won the night, handily beating closest competitor by 56% in overall audience, and by 8% in the demo. After CBS, the network lineup: ABC (1.2, 5.25M) NBC (0.8, 3.63) Fox (0.7, 2.61M) and CW (0.5, 1.62M)
