President Donald Trump got back to shellacking The Washington Post on Twitter today, after doing so circuitously the past week with tweets pounding online retailer Amazon, which also is owned by Jeff Bezos.

This morning, Trump tweet-attacked a WaPo headline about his tariff war with China.

“The Fake News Washington Post, Amazon’s ‘chief lobbyist,’ has another (of many) phony headlines, ‘Trump Defiant As China Adds Trade Penalties.’ WRONG!” Trump tweeted.

“Should read, ‘Trump Defiant as U.S. Adds Trade Penalties, Will End Barriers and Massive I.P. Theft.’ Typically bad reporting!”

Trump has gone postal over Bezos’s Amazon in his morning tweets for the past week, driving down its stock with inaccurate claims that the online retailer is not paying its fair share of taxes and is hurting the U.S. Postal Service, which Trump insisted is costing taxpayers.

Earlier this morning, Trump continued to tweet-boast that he got Mexico to break up “The Caravan” from Central America making its way through Mexico and that crossings into the U.S. are at a 46-year low, as he prepares to send National Guard to that border to protect American citizens from “drugs.”

“The Caravan is largely broken up thanks to the strong immigration laws of Mexico and their willingness to use them so as not to cause a giant scene at our Border,” Trump tweeted. “Because of the Trump Administrations actions, Border crossings are at a still UNACCEPTABLE 46 year low. Stop drugs!”
