Gavin Lewis (NCIS, Ominous), Theodore Barnes (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn), Shelby Simmons (Andi Mack) and Cynthia McWilliams (Real Husbands of Hollywood) are set as leads in live-action multi-camera comedy The Prince of Peoria, from the Internet network’s Kids & Family division.

Written by Nick Stanton and Devin Bunje, creators of Disney XD’s Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything, The Prince of Peoria has a Coming to America vibe for the younger set. When Emil (Lewis), a 13-year-old prince from a wealthy island kingdom, travels to the U.S. to live incognito as an exchange student, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with Teddy (Barnes), a fastidious, overachieving boy who is Emil’s total opposite.

Lewis’ Prince Emil is the gregarious, wide-eyed 13-year-old Prince of Buronia, who’s lived a sheltered life and dreams of one day having a best friend.

Barnes’ Teddy is a fastidious 13-year-old who dreams of one day getting into the prestigious MIT Robotics Program.

Simmons plays Sydney. The daughter of two professors, Sydney is a straight-A student and the first chair violinist in the school orchestra, but secretly has a bit of a wild side.

McWilliams portrays Regina, Teddy’s fun-loving mom, who thinks her son takes himself way too seriously and would do anything to help him make friends.

Stanton and Bunje serve as showrunners. They executive produce the series with Sharla Sumpter Bridgett (Disney Channel’s Sonny with a Chance). Netflix is the studio.

Lewis is repped by Innovative Artists, Myman Greenspan and Trademark Talent. Barnes is repped by Commerical Talent and Untitled. Simmons is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and LA Management. McWilliams is repped by APA and CESD.
