Annabelle Wallis Lands A Lead In ‘Boss Level’

EXCLUSIVE: Annabelle Wallis has joined Mel Gibson and Frank Grillo in Boss Level, which Joe Carnahan wrote and is directing. Carnahan’s producing with Randall Emmett, George Furla and Grillo.

A retired special forces officer is trapped in a never-ending time loop on the day of his death. Wallis will play Alice, a dental hygienist who hates teeth but has a huge crush on her patient Roy Pulver (Grillo). Since Roy has to repeat this particular day numerous times till he gets it right, Alice is frequently part of the repeating narrative, sometimes in bed alongside Roy as the first assassin of the day tries to murder him, as well as in other encounters with him.

She can be seen in this summer’s Warner Bros comedy TAG opposite John Hamm, Jeremy Renner and Ed Helms. She’s repped at Untitled, UTA and United Agents. Wallis most recently starred in Annabelle: Creation and The Mummy.

Emmett/Furla/Oasis is financing in a co-production between EFO, Di Bonaventura Pictures, Carnahan and Grillo’s War Party, and Scott Free, whose Jules Daly will be exec producer.
