‘SuperMansion’: Crackle Unveils Season 3 Trailer, Premiere Date

Crackle has set a May 7 premiere for Season 3 of SuperMansion and released the first trailer for the Emmy-nominated stop-motion animated series.

The Sony network announced the date and debuted the trailer during its panel Saturday at WonderCon in Anaheim, with voice-over stars Heidi Gardner, Yvette Nicole Brown and Breckin Meyer, along with co- creators and executive producers Zeb Wells and Matthew Senreich and director Nick Simotas in attendance.

In the upcoming season, the lunatics get the keys to the asylum when Dr. Devizo (Chris Pine) is declared a hero after “saving the world” at the end of last season. He and the Injustice Club are all made honorary members of the League of Freedom. The heroes and villains must learn to live and work together if they’re going to combat the never-ending amount of evil in the world.

Bryan Cranston, Keegan-Michael Key, Chris Pine, Jillian Bell, Yvette Nicole Brown, Heidi Gardner, Tucker Gilmore and Zeb Wells (also writer) will all return for Season 3.

SuperMansion is created by Zeb Wells and Matthew Senreigh, who also executive produce via their Stoopid Buddy Studios, alongside Seth Green, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner. Bryan Cranston and James Degus also executive produce under their Moon Shot Entertainment. The series is distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
