Sam Strike, who recently appeared as the serial killer Monte Russell in David Fincher’s Netflix series Mindhunter will star in the indie film The Wisdom Tooth, from director Gregorio Sassoli. Currently in production in New York City, the film centers on 20-something Dash Green (Strike) as he discovers he has untreatable non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Edoardo Zabeletti and Nikolai Metin are producing. Strike’s other credits include the title role of Jackson in Millennium Films’ Texas Chainsaw Massacre origin story, Leatherface. He’s repped by APA, Circle of Confusion, APA, and The Artists Partnership in the UK.
Actor David An has been cast in Peter Farrelly’s Green Book, which stars Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali. The pic, co-written by Farrelly, Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie, is based on the true story of Tony Lip (Vallelonga’s real-life father), an Italian-American bouncer who, in 1962, was hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley, one of the world’s finest jazz pianists, on a concert tour from New York City through the pre-civil rights-era Deep South. Farrelly, Vallelonga, Currie, Jim Burke and Charles Wessler are producing. Participant Media will be released via its output arrangements with Amblin Partners. An, repped by Joseph Le Agency and East West Artists, appears in Clint Eastwood’s upcoming biopic The 15:17 to Paris, as well as New Line’s live-action adaptation of Rampage, with Dwayne Johnson.
