‘Mr. Robot’ Renewed For Season 4 By USA Network

On the day of the season 3 finale for Mr. Robotcreator Sam Esmail has announced across his social media channels that his team is returning for season 4, and already in the writers’ room.

The finale airs tonight on USA at 10/9c.

On Monday, Mr. Robot star Christian Slater received his third consecutive Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Season 3 saw Elliot (Rami Malek) keep a greater distance between himself and the voice of his father, Mr. Robot (Christian Slater), in his head. While they continued to take down the nefarious E-Corp conglomerate with the help of China’s Dark Army hack group, events went sideways for Elliot and his fellow hackers when they executed a terrorist act on the conglomerate. One of the more pungent additions to Mr. Robot‘s season 3 was Bobby Cannavale as a used car salesman/frontman for the Dark Army.
