EXCLUSIVE: CAA has signed new client Tim Federle, a co-writer of Blue Sky Studios/20th Century Fox’s animated film Ferdinand, which will bow in theaters this week.

Based on the popular children’s book, The Story of Ferdinand, the pic stars John Cena as Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart who, after being mistaken for a dangerous beast, is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on a Spain-set adventure.

Federle is the author of the Nate Foster young adult novel series, which includes Better Nate than Ever, Five-Six-Seven Nate, and the forthcoming Nate Expectations. In addition, he co-wrote the libretto for the Broadway musical Tuck Everlasting, which is based on the children’s novel by Natalie Babbitt.

Federle continues to be repped by Magnet Management and his attorney is Ryan LeVine.
