Imax Corp. and 20th Century Fox Film jointly announced this morning that they’re extending their multi-pic agreement through 2019 which will include The Darkest Minds and Marvel titles The New Mutants, X-Men: Dark Phoenix; and Gambit. All of these titles will be digitally re-mastered in the immersive Imax format and released in their auditoriums.
In a joint statement, 20th Century Fox Film President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution Chris Aronson and President of International Theatrical Distribution Andrew Cripps said in a statement: “As we continue to create films with larger-than-life stories, we are thrilled to extend and strengthen our partnership with our colleagues at Imax and look forward to sharing our slate via the Imax immersive format with audiences around the world.”

Other Fox titles coming out in Imax include Maze Runner: The Death Cure, The Predator, and Alita: Battle Angel.
