Tyra Banks Signs With UTA

America’s Got Talent host and America’s Next Top Model creator-producer-host Tyra Banks in all areas. She had been a longtime WME client.

Supermodel and entrepreneur Banks replaced Nick Cannon as host of NBC’s summer reality staple AGT for its 12th run this year. Its September 20 finale posted a six-year ratings high for a season ender, posting a 2.9/11 rating. That was up 4% in the adults 18-49 demo and 7% in total viewers to 15.6 million from the Season 11 finale.

Meanwhile, ANTM returns for a 24th cycle next month on VH1. The reality stalwart has aired in more than 170 countries.

Offscreen, Banks continues to expand the definition of beauty through her various platforms. A graduate of Harvard Business School, she is a Visiting Professor at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where she will return to teach this spring. She also was an original Victoria’s Secret Angel and the first African-American model featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated‘s Swimsuit Issue.

Banks continues to be represented by Ziffren Brittenham.
