Lizzy Caplan In Talks To Co-Star In Fox’s ‘Gambit’

Masters of Sex alum Lizzy Caplan is in talks to join Channing Tatum in Gambit, the X-Men spinoff that has Gore Verbinski directing from a script by Josh Zetumer. 20th Century Fox is releasing the film February 14, 2019.

Created by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee in 1990, Gambit/Remy LeBeau has the ability to charge matter with volatile kinetic energy, causing the object in question to explosively release its charge on impact. He had a brief appearance in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, played by Taylor Kitsch. No word on who Caplan will play.

Caplan, who appears in A24’s James Franco-directed film The Disaster Artist and co-stars opposite Michael Pena in the sci-fi film Extinction, is repped by WME.
