‘Top 30’ Daily News Show To Air On Fox Stations Through 2019

Fox Television Stations

Daily news program Top 30 will air on Fox Television Stations through 2019. The pickup was announced today by Stephen Brown, EVP of Programming and Development, Fox TV Stations, and follows a four-week test run this past summer. It will air in all FTS duopoly markets and other select single station markets, FTS says.

Top 30 features the top 30 stories of the day in 30 minutes. Each segment averages two minutes with most commercial pods lasting 30 seconds. Throughout commercial breaks, the viewer remains connected to the show as the ads play in an onscreen show-branded player with a 30-second or 60-second timer.

“This show is perfect for the stations that don’t have a national news voice,” said Brown. The bite-sized segments with lower third graphics play well on air and on our affiliates’ digital platforms. Give us 30 minutes, and we’ll get you up to date with everything you need to know each day. That’s our promise.”

Top 30
is produced by Dino Bones, Inc. for Fox Television Stations and distributed by Twentieth Television.
