ABC is developing an untitled single dad comedy from Men At Work creator Breckin Meyer, Jamie Tarses and Scott Stuber, and ABC Studios.

Created and executive produced by Meyer, the project will follow a newly single dad as he attempts to navigate fatherhood and the modern world of dating all while living in the guesthouse of his ex-wife’s new man. Meyer, who appeared in features Clueless, Road Trip and Rat Race, and most recently starred in TNT’s Franklin & Bash, will not be acting in the project. Tarses and Stuber executive produce via their ABC Studios-based Bluegrass Fanfare. ABC Studios is the studio.

In addition to the credits above, Meyer created and served as showrunner for TBS series Men At Work starring Danny Masterson, which ran for three seasons. He has also earned multiple Emmy nominations as a writer for Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken. He’s repped by Paradigm, Principato-Young and attorneys David Weber and A.J. Brandenstein.
