Comedy Central and “Roastmaster General” Jeff Ross joining forces for a second edition of Ross’ summer hit reality competition series Roast Battle, with Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle II set to air on the network Sunday nights in January.

Inspired by competitive comedy-club circuit, Roast Battle pits some of the country’s most vicious comedians against one another, one-on-one in a bracket-style, insult comedy contest with an all-star panel of judges deciding their tournament fate. Tickets are available now for four preliminary rounds happening this month in Atlanta, New York City, Denver and Los Angeles. Attended by Jeff Ross, each preliminary event will be taped and aired consecutive Sundays on Comedy central beginning January 1 at 11:00 PM.

Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle II will culminate with a four-part main event airing January 26-29. Led by Ross with comedian Brian Moses serving as referee, the main event will be filmed in four nights in Los Angeles, with the first three parts airing January 26, 27, and 28, followed by the January 29 finals aired live same-day. Competitors and judges will be announced at a later date.

“Roast Battle is a movement. The fans love it and the comics love doing it. I wish all the world’s problems could be settled this way,” said Ross in a statement. “I’m grateful to Comedy Central for having the balls to air it live.”
