‘Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later’: Samm Levine & Marlo Thomas Join Netflix Sequel Series

Samm Levine and Marlo Thomas have signed on to the cast of Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, Netflix’s sequel series to the limited series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp that was based on the cult 2001 movie. The new series was set up by a scene at the end of the movie where Bradley Cooper’s character proposes,” Let’s all promise that in 10 years from today, we’ll meet again, and we’ll see what kind of people we’ve blossomed into,” and all agree.

Levine, who voiced Camp Radio host Arty in the feature and the first Netflix series will actually appear as the character on Ten Years Later. Arty is the first person everyone at camp hears each morning. Thomas will play Vivian, a woman with a mysterious connection to the past history of the camp.

Levine and Thomas join previously announced cast Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Lake Bell, Michael Showalter, Christopher Meloni, A.D Milles, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Josh Charles and Jai Courtney.

Levine can be seen in Rooster Teeth’s Crunch Time,  the upcoming Comedy Central’s Drunk History, IFC’s Comedy Bang Bang and indie feature I’d Like To Be Alone Now. He’s repped by TalentWorks and Cohn-Torgan Management. Thomas recently recurred on Happily Ever After and had a guest-starring role on Ballers.
