TNT’s Kevin Reilly, Execs From Hulu & Sony TV Join Peabodys Advisory Board

The Peabody Awards has added to its advisory board, and some big-names TV execs made the grade. Joining the nearly two dozen existing board members are Kevin Reilly, president of TBS and TNT and Chief Creative Officer at Turner Entertainment; Zack Van Amburg, president of Sony Pictures Television; and Craig Erwich, SVP and Head of Content at Hulu. Wendy Clark, CEO of ad agency DDB North America.

“As we continue to grow Peabody, the board of advisors bring knowledge and insight from their collective experience to help guide our various initiatives in celebrating stories that matter,” said Jeffrey Jones, director of the program. “We welcome these new members and appreciate their efforts in helping Peabody further its goal of becoming a year-round organization that extends the social conversation around transformative media programming.”

Launched in 2015, the board of advisors is separate from the traditional board of jurors that each year evaluates entries and bestows the prestigious awards for excellence in electronic media.

The quartet joins such existing board members as Lionsgate TV chairman Kevin Beggs, A+E Networks president and CEO Nancy Dubuc. NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt, Showtime Networks president and CEO David Nevins, WME head of TV Rick Rosen, Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, CBS Television Studios presidnet David Stapf, Fox TV Group co-chairman/CEO Dana Walden and Nickelodeon Networks Group president Cyma Zarghami.
