A rekindling of the Rogelio-Xo romance does not seem to be in the cards, at least in the foreseeable future.  Six Feet Under and ER alumna Justina Machado has been cast in a recurring role opposite Jaime Camil on the upcoming third season of the CW’s dramedy Jane The Virgin.

She’ll play Darcy Factor, an all-business brassy, formidable and likes-to-be-in-control matchmaker whom Rogelio (Camil) goes to see about finding a woman. Very protective of her female clientele, Darcy has strict rules about her dating service, all of which Ro breaks right away. However, Darcy gives Ro another chance (or two) and ultimately comes up with a surprising proposition for him. Machado joins recently cast recurring player Ricardo Chavira who plays an old flame of Xo’s (Andrea Navedo).

Machado was most recently seen on USA Network’s Queen of the South and plays the lead on Netflix’s revival of Norman Lear’s One Day at a Time opposite Rita Moreno. She is repped by D2 Management and APA.
