Campfire Sets Chuck Klosterman’s ‘The Visible Man’ For Karl Mueller To Adapt, Direct


Campfire CEO Ross M. Dinerstein has acquired the rights to author Chuck Klosterman’s bestselling novel The Visible Man, which Karl Mueller will adapt and direct. Dinerstein will produce, with the author exec producing. In The Visible Man, a therapist begins treating a troubled, cryptic man who claims he’s stolen invisibility technology from an aborted government project that allows him to “study” random individuals within their daily lives – usually when they are alone and vulnerable. Mueller wrote and directed the Netflix pic Rebirth, which Dinerstein produced and which premiered at Tribeca. They also collaborated on Mr. Jones and The Divide, and Dinerstein’s producing credits include the current FilmRise release Silicon Cowboys. Mueller is repped by APA and Management 360. Klosterman is repped by the Levine Greenberg Rostan Literary Agency and Cohen Gardner LLP.
