More/Medavoy Moves Into Literary Representation, Signs Two Screenwriters

EXCLUSIVE: More/Medavoy Management is forging into the literary arena and has signed two screenwriters to their growing roster of talent — Trey Ellis and Matthew McDuffie.

Ellis is an accomplished novelist and essayist, but is perhaps best known for writing the Emmy-nominated TV movie The Tuskegee Airmen which starred Laurence Fishburne. Recently, The Black List staged a live reading of his screenplay Holy Mackerel! with Mykelti Williamson, Jesse Williams, and Yvette Nicole Brown. He also wrote the Danny Glover & Whoopi Goldberg starrer Good Fences, which was shortlisted for a PEN award. Ellis continues to be repped by ICM Partners & attorney Stephen Barnes of Morris Yorn.

Writer/director McDuffie is probably best known for writing the feature film Face of Love starring Annette Bening, Ed Harris and the late Robin Williams. He recently wrote and directed Burning Bodhi, starring Virginia Madsen and Kaley Cuoco. The filmmaker continues to be repped by APA.
