‘Stitchers’ Renewed For Third Season By Freeform

Freeform has picked up a third season of hit drama series Stitchers. The news was just announced by stars Emma Ishta and Kyle Harris during a Q&A for fans on the show’s Facebook Live.

Stitchers has been a strong ratings performer for the network. In adults 18-49, Stitchers is Freeform’s No. 2 new series of the past two seasons behind Shadowhunters, and the No. 3 original series across digital platforms behind Pretty Little Liars and Shadowhunters.

The series stars Ishta as Kirsten Clark. Highly intelligent and persistent, Kirsten has an aptitude for technology but never expected that she’d be hacking into the minds of the recently deceased. Recruited into a covert government agency to be ‘stitched’ into the memories of the dead, Kirsten and the Stitchers team investigates murders and deciphers mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Kyle Harris (Cameron Goodkin), Ritesh Rajan (Linus Ahluwalia), Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Maggie Baptiste), Allison Scagliotti (Camille Engelson), and Damon Dayoub (Detective Quincy Fisher) also star.

Jeffrey Alan Schechter, Jonathan Baruch and Rob Wolken executive produce.

’Stitchers’ passionate fanbase has been vocal about wanting to see more of this show, and we listened,” said Karey Burke. EVP Programming and Development, Freeform. “Stitchers has proven itself a consistently strong performer, and we’re proud of the fact that it celebrates #smartgirls everywhere.”
