Gina Brogi Takes Over As President of Global Distribution At Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution

Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution

Company veteran Gina Brogi officially has been promoted to President of Global Distribution at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. Brogi was slated to step into her new role when Marion Edwards, President of International Television, announced that she would be leaving at the end of 2016 after 24 years at TCFTVD.

Based in Los Angeles, she will oversee the worldwide distribution of Fox series and features across all media and platforms and be responsible for the licensing Fox movies to U.S. networks. Brogi had been EVP Worldwide Pay TV and SVOD.

The division is being restructured to unify the licensing efforts throughout all television distribution media and platforms and align the sales organization around three major regions. Three other longtime Fox execs have been promoted in the revamp: Evan Scheffel to EVP the Americas, Television Distribution, Kristen Finney, Exec VP EMEA, Television Distribution, and Richard Samuels to EVP Asia Pacific, Television Distribution. They will report to Brogi.

“Gina is one of the most highly respected executives in the industry, and we are proud to see her step into this important new role,” said TCFTVD President Mark Kaner, to whom she’ll report. “With her extensive strategic experience and extraordinary sales and leadership skills, Gina will help guide our global teams to ensure our continued success.”

Brogi joined the studio since 1999. Most recently as EVP Worldwide Pay TV and SVOD, she played a vital role in the development and growth of the company’s global television distribution operations. Brogi worked with Kaner to put the division’s new organizational structure into place.

“As part of our long-term planning and with the progression of our industry in mind, we have decided to restructure our organization to better capitalize on our business,” Brogi said. “We are fortunate to have an incredibly strong executive team. I’m very proud and appreciative to have Evan, Kristen, and Richard’s talent and experience as we collaborate on taking our division to the next level.”
