Fox’s Mike Dunn Named Chair Of Home Viewing Industry’s Digital Entertainment Group

Mike Dunn, the president of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, will also become chairman of the Digital Entertainment Group, a trade association that monitors home entertainment sales by dozens of companies in the film, television and digital worlds, the association said on Wednesday.

Dunn succeeds Ron Sanders of Warner Bros., who had held the post, and will now have an ex-officio position. Matt Strauss, an executive vice president for video services at Comcast Cable was named vice chair, according to the association. Officers and board members are elected to two-year terms. Dunn, a prominent player in the home entertainment industry, was previously vice chair. James Finn, who handles communications for Dunn at Fox, will become chair of the association’s communications committee for the next year.
