Christina Aguilera will appear on her new exec-produced Tracks to launch the musical game show September 1 on Spike. She’ll perform in two back-to-back half-hour episodes on premiere night, following an earlier appearance that evening on the channel’s Lip Sync Battle: TMI.

Tracks, hosted by rapper/actor Shad Moss (a.k.a. Bow Wow), will pit contestants against one another as they try to guess the name of a song based on individual tracks of guitar, bass, drums, etc. Think Name That Tune for the 21st Century, with surprise musical performances by celebrities such as Tommy Lee.

Special performances by Aguilera will be featured in both of the debut-night episodes, kicking off at 10:30 pm ET/PT following the singer’s appearance on Lip Sync Battle featuring Hayden Panettiere vs. Eva Longoria.

Tracks is produced by Mission Control Media and MX Productions in association with Lionsgate. Aguilera is executive producer along with MX Productions founder Matthew Rutler, Michael Agbabian and Dwight D. Smith and Jeff Boggs. Neal Tabachnick and Michael Aubry are co-executive producers, and developed the series with Mission Control Media.
