Antoine Fuqua’s Audience Drama ‘Ice’ Casts Judith Shekoni; ‘Transparent’ Adds Molly Bernard

Judith Shekoni (Heroes Reborn) is set as the female lead in Ice, Antoine Fuqua’s drama series for AT&T’s Audience network, joining previously announced Raymond J. Barry, Cam Gigandet, Jeremy Sisto, Ray Winstone and Donald Sutherland. The 10-episode Ice, from Fuqua’s Fuqua Films and Entertainment One, was named after the slang word for diamonds. Written/exec produced by Robert Munic, it follows the Green family as they plunge into the underbelly of the L.A. diamond trade. Shekoni will play Sister Rah, a major crime lord of the Los Angeles diamonds trade. The British actress is best known for her work on NBC’s Heroes Reborn, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, and most recently as a guest star on NCIS: LA. Shekoni can also be seen on the upcoming season of BBC One’s Ordinary Lies. She is repped by Clear Talent Group, Headline Talent Agency and Avalon Management.

Younger star Molly Bernard has signed on to Transparent, Amazon’s Golden Globe- and Emmy-winning series. Bernard will play the younger version of Judith Light’s character Shelly Pfefferman in an upcoming flashback episode. Bernard also co-stars in Clint Eastwood-directed Sully, alongside Tom Hanks and recently made her off-Broadway debut in the Soho Rep’s Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.
