‘Greatest Hits’ Ratings Rise In Finale, ‘Big Brother’ Tops Thursday

ABC’s music-themed reality series Greatest Hits ended its six-episode run on a high note, drawing a 0.9 Live+same day rating in adults 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers. While that is a modest result, it represents a 50% surge week-to-week (off a small base) and a 3-week high for the show. ABC’s BattleBots (0.8, 3.3 million) was flat.

The night’s other finale. Fox’s Home Free (0.6, 2 million) was up a tenth from its fast national 18-49 rating last Thursday, even with the final.

CBS’ Big Brother (1.9, 5.9 million) dominated the night in the demo, inching up a tenth from last week to match its Thursday high for the season.

The Big Bang Theory flexed its rerun muscle, logging Thursday’s largest audience, 6.8 million, and finishing tied for second in the demo (1.1) with a repeat. It was tied with NBC’s Olympics preview (1.1, 5 million).
