WME Signs ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Scribe Terry Rossio

EXCLUSIVE: WME has signed Oscar-nominated writer and Pirates of the Caribbean scribe Terry Rossio.

In addition to Pirates, Rossio has created some of the highest-grossing franchises of all time, including National Treasure with Nicolas Cage and Shrek, which earned him a BAFTA win and Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. He recently re-teamed with Disney and Johnny Depp for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which also brings back Orlando Bloom as Will Turner. That film comes out next year. Other notable credits include Aladdin, Déjà Vu, and the Roland Emmerich-directed Godzilla.

Rossio will continue to be repped by Lichter Grossman. He was previously at CAA.
