SundanceTV Unveils ‘Rectify’ Season 4 Trailer, Renews ‘The A Word’ – TCA

SundanceTV

SundanceTV has released a trailer for the fourth and final season of Rectify, which will premiere at 10 PM October 26 (watch it above). The cable net also announced that it has renewed autism drama The A Word for a second season.

Rectify centers on Daniel Holden (Aden Young), who returns to his small hometown in Georgia after serving 19 years on death row. Having spent his entire adult life waiting to die, Daniel now tries to find a way to cope with his past and forge a “normal” life with an unexpected future before him. While doubts surround the circumstances of his original conviction, Daniel affects everyone he encounters in different and profound ways — his very fractured family, his community and even strangers. At the end of Season 3, Daniel was banished from Paulie as part of a plea deal and set out to start his new life in Nashville.

Season 4 picks up a few months later and continues the series’ documentation of the lives of Daniel, his family and the citizens of Paulie. Abigail Spencer, J. Smith-Cameron, Luke Kirby, Clayne Crawford, Adelaide Clemens, Bruce McKinnon, Jake Austin Walker and JD Evermore also star.

SundanceTV also today said that Season 3 of Rectify will hit Netfliz on August 1. The first two seasons already are streaming.

The A Word
SundanceTV

The A Word is a portrait of a contemporary family after their young son is diagnosed with autism. The series follows 5-year-old Joe (Max Vento); his parents, Paul and Alison (Lee Ingleby and Morven Christie); his aunt and uncle, Nicola and Eddie (Vinette Robinson and Greg McHugh), who are working through unfaithfulness in their marriage; and his grandfather, Maurice (Chris Eccleston), a recent widower and the owner of the family brewery.
