‘Swiss Army Man’ Gets Theatrical Release In The UK

A24’s Sundance debut Swiss Army Man will be released in the UK on September 30 by Picturehouse Entertainment and A24, following a U.S. opening that has taken in over $4M at the specialty box office. The comedy marks the feature directorial debut of music video directors Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (collectively known as Daniels) who were honored with the Best Director Award in the U.S. Narrative Competition at Sundance 2016. The odd film stars Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano. The UK will mark its first overseas territory.

The story follows Hank (Dano) who is stranded on a deserted island and has given up all hope of ever making it home again. Until one day when a corpse named Manny (Radcliffe) washes up on shore; the two become fast friends, and ultimately go on an epic adventure that will bring Hank back to the woman of his dreams.
