Voltage Pictures Signs Exclusive Production Deal With ‘Dracula Untold’ EP Alissa Phillips


Voltage Pictures has entered into an exclusive arrangement with producer Alissa Phillips, who worked alongside Michael De Luca on the Oscar-nominated movie Moneyball (as co-producer) and the $217M-plus-grossing movie Dracula Untold (as EP). Phillips will be producing feature films, TV series and mini series with Voltage and will work alongside the current Voltage Production team Craig Flores, Partner and President of Voltage Productions; Zev Foreman President of Production of Voltage Pictures; and SVP Dom Rustam. Voltage CEO Nicolas Chartier made the announcement today.

Phillips’ producing credits also include Butter starring Jennifer Garner, which bowed at the 2011 Telluride Film Festival, as well as co-executive producing Frank Darabont’s TNT series Mob City. Phillips most recently EPed the Syfy miniseries Childhood‘s End. She has several drama series in development with Sony TV and FX, and Phillips is also EPing Focus Features’ upcoming On the Brinks, based on the best-selling memoir by Sam Millar.

Phillips was repped by attorney Robby Koch of Hansen Jacobson.

Upcoming Voltage Pictures releases include Natalie Portman’s feature directorial debut A Tale of Love and Darkness, which Focus World opens August 19.  Voltage is in post production on the Untitled Detective Movie starring Bruce Willis and John Moore’s IT starring Pierce Brosnan. Also upcoming is Nacho Vigalondo’s Colossal, starring Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, Dan Stevens, Austin Stowell, and Tim Blake Nelson; The Headhunter’s Calling, directed by Mark Williams and starring Gerard Butler, Willem Dafoe, Alison Brie, Gretchen Mol and Alfred Molina; and director Rob Reiner’s LBJ, starring Woody Harrelson, Bill Pullman, Richard Jenkins and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
