Disney Channel and Disney Junior will preview a slate of upcoming Disney product during Friday’s premiere of Elena of Avalor, the new animated princess series inspired by Latin cultures. Presented with limited interruption, the two consecutive Elena episodes will include first-look segments from Lego Frozen Northern Lights, Pete’s Dragon, the new Beauty and the Beast and Descendants 2.
The two half-hour Elena episodes, beginning at 7 pm ET/PT July 22, will be preceded by a telecast of Frozen, which also will include a first look at LEGO Frozen Northern Lights, an upcoming animated short-form series featuring Frozen characters Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. The series premieres in November on Disney Channel.
Also during Friday’s Elena: Disney Channel’s exclusive first look at a scene from Pete’s Dragon, opening in theaters August 12; the exclusive television premiere of a teaser trailer for Disney’s upcoming Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson, opening March 17, 2017; and a teaser trailer for Descendants 2, the sequel to the Disney Channel original movie premiering next summer.

The first Elena of Avalor episode will be available July 20 for all users on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior app, Disney Channel VOD platforms and Disney Channel YouTube. Following its U.S. debut, the series will roll out in 163 countries on Disney Channels and Disney Junior.
