Comic-Con Unveils Interactive Swag Bags For Attendees

For the seventh year in a row, Warner Bros and Comic-Con are teaming up for the collectable bags fans receive when they pick up their attendee badges, and said bags are getting an interactive upgrade for 2016.

Today the studio and convention organization announced that the 18 bags — branded with WB films and TV shows including Suicide Squad, The 100, Arrow, Supergirl and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will feature an “interactive augmented reality experience” via the Blippar app, available for free on iOS or Android devices. To participate, attendees can scan their bags using the app to reveal exclusive animations and other content. More information can be found here.


Each bag features three panels of artwork designed by Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing; more than 135,000 bags have been produced for distribution during Comic-Con 2016. Also featured on the bags are the Warner Bros TV series The Big Bang Theory, Blindspot, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Gotham, iZombie, Lucifer, Supernatural and a combo bag with The Originals and The Vampire Diaries; Warner Bros animated series Justice League Action and Teen Titans Go!; Blue Ribbon Content’s digital series Vixen; and the DC Super Hero Girls universe.
